Eyebrow piercing aftercare
During the healing phase, your body piercing is very fragile! To avoid any problem, give it tender love and care and follow health and safety instructions .
In any case, never take off your piercing jewellery before the end of the healing phase. The hole could quickly refill up.
If you have any doubt or worry don't hesitate to contact your body piercing studio or your chemist, they will answer all your questions.
Avoid :
- The use of 70° or 90° alcohol, Hexomedine, Dakin, Mercyl, Hydrogen peroxyde, as well as cicatrizing creams.
- Applying make-up, hair gel, or shaving cream on your eyebrow piercing.
- Going to the swimming-pool or at the sauna during the first two months.
Our instructions concerning the daily care :
Some body piercing artists will recommend the use of Easy Piercing ® or Diaseptyl ® products for the first 15 days.
There is no such thing as a magical product allowing for a quicker healing. Using a care product too often (more than 3 times a day) or for too long (few months) will cause redness and irritations. Moreover, the excessive use of such chemicals will cancel their effect and make them useless to fight infections.
Cleaning and daily care of your eyebrow piercing:
During the first two weeks:
1) While washing yourself under the shower, soften the scabs with hot water.
2) Wadh your eyebrow piercing with a ph neutral liquid soap, and delicately take off all the impurities. Don't force any scab to go, they will fall by themselves when the time comes. Rinse well.
3) After your shower, clean your piercing and your jewellery with a cotton bud that you previously soaked in an antiseptic solution.
Before going to bed, clean your eyebrow iercing with a cotton bud soaked in hot water, then with a cotton bud soaked in an antiseptic chemical.
After two weeks and until the ened of the healing phase:
1) When washing in the morning, clean your piercing under the shower with ph neutral soap and rinse well. Don't use any more antiseptic at this point.
2) Before going to bed, use a cotton -bud soaked in warm water. You can then use physiological serum.
